EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Gordon young addvalue initial co. started way back in 2009 and was dully registered on January 2010. Its offices are located along Mombasa road Nairobi Kenya on Vision Plaza 2nd Floor.

It is run by a well organized management board of five members which is headed by a chairman who happens to be the sole director of the company.

Gordon young add value initial company was formed as an emergency centre to both the wheat products companies and their customers as a counter measure in protecting the customers from substandard products due to economic recession which affected almost the whole world, leading to high cost of operations overhead cost.

The core objective customers protection against substandard goods and services and the company efficiently and effectively resource allocation to planned activities to achieve set goals and objectives maximally.

Add value mission is consistency improvement and updating our client on new modalities of business sustainability and containing market pressure by unhealthy competitors, grand vision is to be a leading business organization where clients call in for services at a friendly cost.

INTRODUCTION
Gordon young add value initial co. was formed as a business entity with a core objective of making profit through rendering services and thus registered through the Ministry of Trade and Industrialization.

The idea of Gordon young add value initial co was born after personally saw how both the manufacturers and the customers were straining to avoid going concern and thus producing bad quality to customers as a result of poor management policy due to lack of experience. Having in possession of the required both academics and experience and having been denied opportunity to show my prowess on that field I registered on Jan 2011 as a platform to prove that I was worth.

The idea is a challenge to the government and the clients as individuals have great ideas that if given chance to implement it can create jobs and taxes to the government, the idea is great to both the client as it protects the production overhead cost through effective and efficient resource utilization and customer friendly through standards quality.

Gordonyoung addvalue initial co. idea it relates much to place where we were residing as most of us felt that the goods/ products reaching us were sub- standard and when we did a research we found out it was affecting the whole Nation, we were three where we had idea of negotiating a company but two left for further studies in Europe.

BACKGROUND (SITUATION ANALYSIS)
As a result of economic recession (hardship) both the production units (company) and the customers really suffered a lot as the company’s were really struggling not to go concern this producing sub standard products to minimize over head cost of production leading to dumping of sub-standard products to customers for example effective management of quality and reduction of damages introduction of cash flows and running production stock taking and auditing etc.

Our objectives therefore were:-

  • To provide ideas on market sustainability through consistency in quality / branding and rebranding.
  • To track loss through introduction of cash flow and running production stock taking
  • Continual improvement services and cost effectiveness.
  • Training staff and staff motivation on production target planning and effective resources utilization.
  • Modernize your business set up to achieve a maximum target and minimum profit etc

  • Seeing resources are allocated efficiently and effectively in an organization towards activities to achieve set goals and objectives through proper planning, coordinating, controlling and organizing.
